WKPC END OF SEASON

As October comes to a close, so does another great season of pickleball! The West Kelowna Pickleball Club's official season will wrap up on October 31st.

Here's what members need to know about court access and availability beginning November 1st:

Club Operations: All club court reservations, drop-in sessions, and organized play programs will conclude on October 31st.

Public Court Access: In accordance with our lease agreement with the City of West Kelowna, all 12 courts at Mt. Boucherie will transition to public use beginning November 1st. Courts will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, with no designated club reservations or member priority.

Winter Court Closure: Weather permitting, the Mt. Boucherie courts are expected to remain open for public play until approximately the week of November 16th, at which point they will close for the winter season.

A big thank you to all our members, volunteers, and organizers who helped make this season such a success. Whether you joined us for organized play, tournaments, social events, or just a friendly game on the courts, you've helped make our pickleball community something special.

Enjoy any remaining opportunities to play this fall, stay active over the winter, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back to the courts next spring!

Shannon Lake Courts - Closed For Construction

Beginning September 17th until mid-November, Shannon Lake Courts will be closed for construction turning the original two tennis courts into one tennis court and three pickleball courts with permanent nets.

During this time, Shannon Lake Associate Members can use the Mt. Boucherie Courts with the following access:

• Organized Play: Access stays as-is (2 days in advance, space permitting).

• Drop-in: Free access ($10 fee waived).

• Court Bookings (MB): 2 days advance booking with standard prime-time restrictions.

Medical Information Form

For the safety of our members, WKPC is offering a voluntary Medical Information Form that can be completed and carried with you in case of an emergency. The form can provide first responders with important medical and emergency contact information if you are unable to communicate.
