2023 Membership
The West Kelowna Pickleball Club is at full capacity and we are no longer accepting registrations for the 2023 season. Registration for the 2024 season will be opened in December 2023. Come back to this page for more information at that time.Â
Unfortunately all Okanagan Valley clubs have had a tremendous surge in Memberships this season, and almost all have closed down their registrations for the season. We are a victim of our own success and a lack of available facilities.
For West Kelowna specifically, the only option currently available is to register at the courts for drop in play and pay the $5 daily charge. Unfortunately there is no availability for you to register for scheduled events.
There are some other options. Courts 1 and 2 are always open weekday mornings to the public and courts 1-4 are available weekend mornings. If you have friends who play (including any club members you know) you have an ability to use them during that time, with the municipal caveat that you rotate off after 20 minutes if others are waiting. Many times there are club members willing to join in to fill a court if you have room. Various courts are also open in the afternoons and evenings to the public and the schedule is posted at the courts and in the West Kelowna Recreation guide on page 57.
The 3 courts on Anders Road behind the Lakeview Community Centre are open to the public. The Peachland indoor program is running and available for general booking through their Recreation Department, and they have a couple of outdoor courts next to the highway. And finally, the Summerland club is still accepting memberships at this time. I know little about the programs in these 2 locations, and you will need to do your own research.
The City of West Kelowna has historically offered Pickleball Training sessions though their Recreation Department.
